He actually sang the part of Count Despard in a TV production of "Ruddigore" (one of the best things about that production).<br /><br />Though personally I'm not sure I would qualify his tone as nasal, as there's a lot more fullness and warmth to it than that. I'm not an expert on vocal production, though, so I couldn't tell you what it would qualify as.T.
