Still on hiatus. Still planning on restarting when life is in a better place. Now is not it, but I'm working on it. Full storytimes still in future but thought folks should know the bare bones essentials after all this time.
1. My marriage ended. We are amicable co-parents so I don't want to get into details and rehash wounds, but I needed to leave for my health. I am also taking this space to officially "come out" in a sense as Polyamorous, but I am currently single and have been since I left.
2. My daughter was born with a congenital heart defect. She is doing fine right now, but it will be a lifelong hurdle. I also recently welcomed a son - he is loved and healthy.
3. The 2016 election shook me, and in trying to keep myself educated my politics have shifted even further leftwards then they already were. To the point that some views expressed here in the past would be argued very differently today (I still stand by 99% of my overall points, I would just pick some very different angles and take new-to-me information into account). And before you ask, there's nobody I like enough for 2020 but I'll vote for whoever wins the primary anyway because even a Basic Campfire is a better option than He-Who-Makes-Almost-Anything-Look-Better-In-Comparison.
4. Taking a break from Blizzard games for a wide variety of personal reasons. Indefinite, but not permanent. Currently playing FFXIV via PS4, so if you're on the Diabolos server say Hi (Sindra Zasztragosa)
