Both victories were decisive, but not flawless, with Candlejack getting 5 votes out of 8 (62%) and Tails getting 6 votes out of 8 (75%).

These two had an early lead before their opponents overtook them. However, last-minute, Mewtwo gathered a total of 5 votes out of 8 (62%) and Maleficent gathered 4 votes out of 7 (57%)

Each match had six votes. Kenny won his handily with 4 votes (66%), but the second match was a tie, facilitating another tiebreaker which Marv only narrowly beat. That means that Rumpelstiltzkin will stay in the prospective pool for future events.

However, we must still hang our heads as Geekdom Madness bids a final farewell to Axel ("Why do I always get stuck with the icky jobs...")

I have been writing here and elsewhere about how much the Star Wars Saga is more or less interchangeable as far as what can be considered objectively good or bad about the individual films. However, this just seems to compound the mystery as to why I-III was not accepted wholesale among fans as IV-VI supposedly were and suffered a backlash that continues to this day.
