    2. Seriously, I can't thank M. Marshall enough for that artwork. If you're reading this, I want the world to know you went above and beyond.

  3. That was top-shelf work right there. I can't help but think how that commercial would have read if the directors had chosen other Star Wars characters. Either the Ewan or Alec Obi-Wan would be fitting, as would a Darth Vader take, with James Earl James channeling some Orson Welles disdain.

Of course, Jar Jar June demands that Jar Jar step up to the plate. Some great artwork by M. Marshall, and I loved the ending with the little kid reference.

    1. The comedy is the fact that it's Jar Jar, speaking half-basic-half-Gunganese, giving lectures on grammar.

    2. Yes, of course. But everyone knows that the Gungan dialect embodies the highest form of proper grammar in the Star Wars galaxy.

I still think a Vader (sort of like Chad Vader) portrayal would be entertaining. Jar Jar does add a an extra layer of comedy, but the original Orson Welles version still had enough humor to inspire numerous parodies even though Welles was considered to be a man well aware (a bit TOO aware) of his grammar.

    3. One of the reasons we suspect Mr. Welles as having Asperger's.

I'm glad you liked it. Also glad you picked up on the Young Anakin reference. It was a last second ad-lib.
