I hate Graveler's design with a passion and never understood why it was so popular with everyone else. I mean, to each their own and the great thing about Pokémon is that every one appeals to someone, but Greveler tops a lot of people's lists and it kind of baffles me. Luckily for me, this is only a middle-stage evolution so I'll be rewarded for waiting it out (though if I had trade capabilities I would Dig back to the Pokémon Center and do it now)]]

I was worried we were coming to this.
See, when I set out on this journey, I wanted to build my team according the the wisdom given to me by the Gym Leaders. Obviously that means representing their Types in my team as best as possible, but once I got that TM from Brock I originally wanted to make usre I taught and kept every move gifted to me.
But I never use Rock Tomb...because Rock Throw is the same Type and same power but with more accuracy.
So...I've been slowly starting to realize that if I'm going to make it from the top, I have to learn when to let certain things go for a better version of it. Rockslide is a 100% upgrade to both Rock Throw and Rock Tomb, so it makes sense to get rid of one to accommodate. But...the right choice to forget is the weaker move, even if it did come from a Gym Leader.
I'll still teach the TMs, but I can no longer promise they'll stay.

A Zubat got me here. Thunderbolt is amazing in every way and with a heavy heart I had to get rid of Shock Wave. Sorry, Lieutenant. It oddly didn't feel that much stronger than Thundershock if I'm being honest.
